First International Franchise Game Show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” landed in Nepal

“Who Wants to be a Millionaire”, the British based quiz game show has landed in Nepal as “Ko Banchha Crorepati”. This international game show is not a new TV program for anyone, however it’s a big challenge for 3rd world country, Nepal to bring this show. This is a very high budget television show, where it is very tough to survive from the business ads in Nepal.
We do not know what is the loop hole behind all this. But who cares right? People can make money in very short period of time by utilizing their knowledge. At least there is now a opportunity for the talented people to make money with their brain.

There is always limbo on how much will you save when you trade in your eligible devices. Different company offer different amount, so it’s really hard to tell until you entered all of your old phone details in the website. When you click on find your trade in value link on Samsung Website, they are only allowing people to trade their devices from five famous brand phones. You can only trade your Samsung, Apple, LG, Google and Motorola brand phone. There are huge list of the phone model that you might be eligible, especially if you have Samsung phone than they are offering trade in option for the oldest phone is Galaxy Note 5 and above.

The highest trade in value of $550 will only go with the Galaxy Note 8, S9, S9 Plus and Note 9. By the way, this is just for the Samsung’s model. They do offer $550 for other brand latest devices as well. So, how can you get that big money for your phone.

Will Public Pressure Help to Arrest Mast****ting Guy in Public Vehicle?

The incident of violence and abuse in public transportation is not a matter of concern for many people. So, a victim women themselves do not even want to take a counter notification or make a complaint for legal proceedings. But in recent times, pressure from the public level has begun to take action on the victim, with pornographic videos that are public on social networks. Their complaint paper also mentions a pornographic incident in public transport.

On Friday morning, some women reached out to Metropolitan Crime General Branch. Those who had filed a complaint in their hands did not reach the General Branch with personal problems Instead, they reached there with a complaint about the public transportation, which has become insecure for women. Their complaint paper also mentions a pornographic incident in public transport. A man was standing behind a woman and masturbating, where self recorded video has became public, the woman has reached the police with a complaint from the victim’s side.

This incident shows how insecure women are in the public transportation. During pick hours in the morning and evening these vehicles get over crowded. At this overcrowded vehicle, many girls and women get insulted and abusive, those incidents never reach to public or social media. This incident has taught everyone a lesson that not to tolerate abuse, but to report the complaint to police. In order to prevent these types of violence in public transportation, the victims should immediately make a counter notification, otherwise do not hesitate to file a complaint report in Police. The police also need to increase monitoring and activation.

I hate myself to say it loud that I am a Man. Do you hate yourself or feel shame? This incident has crossed the limit. No wonder every girls or women has to face rapist everyday. Until this kind animal person will not get arrested and get punishment, these types of incident will keep happening. February 20 is the Day to Reveal Samsung’s Galaxy S10, Will Samsung Release 3 Models?

There are lot of rumors and concerns going on in social media or internet that How Samsung Galaxy S10 will look like. What will be a specs of this device. Is Samsung launching more than one model phone? May be or may not be. But that questions will be answered on February 20th, 2019.
Samsung has become a one of the beast phone for the Android OS. In this article today, we will talk about rumors over the social media. The mentioned details might not be true, because we are predicting according to the previous trend.

They are unveiling on February 20th, 2019 2PM EST / 11AM PST and you can watch the live stream at samsung’s website. The event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. There is an estimate we can predict when samsung will land their phones to the stores. As we have seen previous year that after the launch event the phone will land to the stores after two weeks, so we can assume that the phone will get the store on March 8th, 2019. This date should be a perfect timing because most of the phones goes for sale usually on Friday and March 8th is Friday.

We can also assume that the phone won’t be cheaper, as we have already seen S9. However, if Samsung releases three models, than there must an option for cheaper version. As rumors of seeing Galaxy S10 LITE.

What are the Models of Samsung Galaxy S10

Samsung Galaxy S10 LITE – This can be the cheaper model, which might be less powerful than below device.
Samsung Galaxy S10 – This is the standard galaxy phone with decent features and power as regular flagship phone.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus – This can be a beast with bigger screen, high power battery and better cameras.

We are able to gather some information from Tech Radar about the design and display of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Once again this is all from rumors and several leaks on Twitter.

There will be three different sizes of the screen. But we don’t know yet what are those three different sizes.

As seen on the image, the phone looks like a very thin bezel as expected, curved screen and pinhole front facing camera.

There is also few rumors and leaks that the phone will still have a 3.5mm headphone jack multiple cameras beside S10 LITE. Both S10 and S10 Plus might have three camera on the back and S10 Plus will have two cameras in the front. All three phone designs will likely be little curved and glass body.

The recent leaks that was provided by Evan Blass as you can see the below images for S10 Lite, S10 and S10 Plus. Both S10 Lite and S10 have middle cut out front facing cameras and two cutouts on S10 plus front facing camera.

Global Culture and Football Fandom

Culture is the customs and beliefs of a particular community who shares the same ideological values and are bounded with certain norms to run the society smoothly. Wendell Pierce an American Actor mentioned culture as the intersection of people and life itself. He has viewed culture as the way to deal with everyday emotions in life (Pierce, n.d.). Cultures are the way of life which distinguish community with each other. It is the sum of learned behavior of people which are transferred from generation to generation.

People within the same culture can carry different traits. The perspective of people to see certain things can differ within an individual so different culture can be concealed within a community. There can be sub-culture and counter-culture within a society. Sub-culture is a practice which exists within the mainstream culture. Whereas a counter culture is a perspective which sees mainstream culture as pure opposition. In this subculture, people go against the norms and traits created by mainstream culture. We can also say that sub-culture and counter culture are the subcategory of culture and exist as a minority.

Being said I categories myself into vocational sub-culture. To further simplify, I am into “Football (Soccer) Fan Culture”. This culture drives me to follow Premier League giant Manchester City. From the early days of soccer fan culture, people have divided it into two groups i.e. Traditional Fans and Consumer Fans. Traditional Fans are the fans who support one particular team based on Bloodline, Geographical Location, Ethnicity and Nationality, Religion and Socioeconomic Standings. Consumer Fans further have been classified into Direct and Indirect form. Direct fans are those fans who attend games physically whereas indirect fans are those who support their teams through online media and from the source of information (Jenkins, 2018).

I started following Manchester City since 2008. Although historical giant clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United dominated the domestic league and world football. I was fascinated by the home kit color of Manchester City. The transfer of my favorite player at that time Carlos Tevez from Manchester United to Manchester City was cheery on top for me to get attract with this club. With all these interest and passion, I got myself engaged with like-minded people. Ultimately we formed a group named “MCFC NEPAL” which is now officially recognized group. To utilize our free time doing what interests us we organized an official screening of the game. By viewing our responsibility for society, we also organized different social events like Football Workshop in “Melamchi Village of Nepal” targeting local youths. I feel that “MCFC Nepal” gave us the platform to connect with different people. Getting to know each other, wishing for a particular team to success, contributing our time on same ideology empower us to further grow as a group or as an individual.

Typical footballing fan culture considers us global fans as “Consumer Fans”. Although the definition of traditional fans doesn’t consider global fans as “Real Fans” I think the subculture I follow is counter culture. Though there is no physical presence, we global fans are as passionate as local traditional fans. I think we global fans are more enthusiast than them, due to different time zone we are compelled to watch games at midnight. We global fans don’t hesitate to support our team under any circumstances. So, under the view of typical footballing fan culture the subculture I follow is counter-culture but in my view, we fans of football across the world are under one culture.

Women’s Objectification in Pop Culutre

Society has always valued beauty from the period of ancient civilization. The ancient Greeks believed that beauty consisted of three major components including Symmetry, Proportion, and Harmony (Winwood, 2016). This component was modernized into the certain standard as propounded by today’s society. During the period of 1950s-The Golden Age of Hollywood the terms “Curvy-hourglass figure”, “Large Busts” and “Slim waist” worked as the default standard for women’s body shape (Holla, 2018).

In popular culture, media and advertisement have a large impact on how we see and feel about things around us. In past, Women’s were portrayed as a sex symbol, housewives, unintelligent and conformist. Although, things are changing now in the name of women empowerment the underlying meaning has been the same. Women in popular culture have been objectified more than ever.

We are exposed to the objectification of women on the TV, Internets, Apps, Magazines, and News. They are being used as sexual objects; to grab the attention of men, to help sell a product. Also, big busted, thin, young and blonde is the ideal image for many females. Advertisements are trying to sell these ideal women as a product that any average women can transform into.

In 2008, famous celebrity Lady Gaga reviled her trauma of being bullied. The reason was she didn’t look like the “Ideal Image” of a woman. She was teased for being ugly, having a big nose, being annoying. During one interview in 2008, she said that she used to be called sh*t (Hiatt, 2011). But she stood against all these criticism and did the hard work to get into the “Ideal Shape” to reach into the level from where her voice can be heard. Now she is going against this and advocating against women objectification.

The effects of objectifying women have been seen more in the last 50 years. According to NEDA, to gain the “Ideal Body” women are forcing themselves for “Crash Diet” which has caused Eating Disorder which is becoming large within the American Population. From the survey done in 2015 by NEDA, it is concluded that 80% of 10 years olds fear to be fat (Grefe & Beale, 2012). This survey raises a modern-day issue of an individual’s interest to portray themselves as the “ideal person” rather than accepting natural growth.

From the beginning of Modern Civilization till now women are being objectified. Although, if women are tested intelligent, possessed strong arms they are advised to follow the sexist rule created by society. At present, all forms of media ranging from traditional to nontraditional generate an ideal image of what is beautiful. This is evident through the cult of beauty propelled by today’s society.

To change the overall perspective of society it is necessary for women to accept that beauty lies in the eye of beholders and they should feel mentally beautiful and accept the traits given by nature to them (Official Channel & Dove, 2013).

Lenovo Z5 is Officially out, and faking the full bezel-less display, there is a notch & chin like iphone

Lenovo launched it’s flagship today, June 05, 2018. The impression and rumor was only the way of making fool to the people. The trend of being a notch phone has come to the Lenovo Z5 as well. After all, the 90% bezel-less screen is still not there yet. Every techy person got surprised by these rumors, are we there yet? Off course not.

By the Lenovo Z5 not only followed the notch style of iphone, it has the similar look of the rear camera as well. There is nothing special on the design, by looking at the phone design, we can simply say that it’s an iphone clone plus the twilight gradient color version similar to Huawei P20 pro’s color.

Lenovo Z5 has the 6.2 Inch touchscreen display with the resolution of 2264×1080. It includes the Snapdragon 636, 6GB of RAM and option of 64-128 GB storage size. 4 TB of the storage was just an marketing technics to put a shadow in the eye of the people. Rear side of the phone looks like an iphone style camera with 16 megapixels of main sensor and 8 mega pixels of secondary. This device comes with Android 8.1 with Lenovo ZUI software layer.

The battery is 3300mAh with dual Nano SIM. WIFI capable, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). It also have an expandable storage microSD up to 256GB.
